The first AP article on Sarah Palin's interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday--which Wallace characterized as 'boffo' and 'somewhat presidential' in her mastery of the issues--is a short hit piece promoting the liberal media driven non-scandal about Palin's remarks on Paul Revere.

The history is not the poem. The poem is an easy way of teaching the basics but reality was a lot more involved. Besides, Revere wasn’t the only rider.

An awful panel discussion followed in which they all tore Sarah apart. In particular - the ugliest woman I’ve ever seen - a Wall St. Journal writer named Kimberly Stassel repeated every stupid lie about her. My husband thinks she may be a transsexual!

And the snake Bill Kristol threw her under her bus yet again.

I hate to get personal (I’m lying, I love it!) but some women have a real problem with Sarah’s beauty. She looked amazing today with the most beautiful necklace and cross around her neck.

I wish at times like this she would just say that she misspoke.

Just another reason I hope I don’t have to vote for Palin. I have a direct ancestor who heeded the alarm call of 04/18/1775, and I bet he’s rolling in his grave knowing the best candidate running 235 years later has this take on the birth of our country.

Why does the leftist media care about history ?

all they seek to do is distort and rewrite it themselves anyway.

This Paul Revere thing has done more to restore
actual history than just about everything tried
previously.

Trying to prove Sarah wrong, the LSM are forced
to research.

PRAISE GOD minds and eyes opening at last.

The untold story is the vast number of Americans that are learning about Paul Revere and the events of April 19, 1775. Thanks to Sarah and her bus tour they’ll learn more as the tour continues.

If the AP&LSM ever figure out that by covering the tour they’re playing right into Sarah’s wheelhouse, why, their heads will explode!

The Paul Revere House's website says that on April 18, 1775, Dr. Joseph Warren instructed Revere to ride to Lexington, Mass., to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock that British troops were marching to arrest them.

As always the wonderful AP shows their "incomplete bias." Revere did indeed (along with William Dawes) ride to Lexington to warn Hancock and Adams of the troops intention to arrest them. That was the first objective. The second objective, that the AP so conveniently avoids mentioning, was for Revere and Dawes to ride to Concord to rouse the locals to fight back against the royal troops intention to take away their munitions stored there. That is, Palin was right that we were acting in defiance of the Crown by defending our right to have arms in order to oppose tyranny. It wasn't the smoothest rendition of the story but it was historically correct.

This immense interest in the famous ride of Paul Revere is all to the good. Thank you Sarah Palin. The amount of old papers and accounts are now brought into focus for the ordinary Joe out there (self included). All good for the mind for some of us. It seems that previously only a vague idea of the historic ride engendered by Longfellow was well known.

Sort of like the person who decided to investigate a certain certificate of live birth. The amount of genealogical data and research that has come forth is incredible. Maybe created many more family historians amongst the average Joe. (chuckle).

The RINO PDS trolls are out this morning I see.

These puzzies trash Palin yet won’t say who they support.

Must be nice to play offense without having to worry about D.

At least we criticize Romney while saying we support Palin.

Wimps, all of them.

Thanks, kristinn. I just saw the Wallace teaser about the upcoming interview. This is the most complimentary I have ever heard Wallace sound about Governor Palin. I’m so excited to see this now (24 minutes and counting!). Are you going to have a LIVE thread for the interview? Hope so.
