The fear that terrorists inspire has a disproportionate impact to the actual numbers killed, it has always been thus. So it still mystifies me why they haven’t tried it yet...
I certainly don't find myself motivated by fear; I feel anger. I don't find myself wanting to hide under my bed; I want to fight back. Nobody is taking over a plane with a box-cutter with me on board.
It's similar with the Somali pirates. I just wish I could afford an armed cruise intended to lure them out. Much of my anger is directed at our own people who seem unable to see the solution.
