Sarah Palin does NOT have Secret Service protection now. She has Todd, and I would imagine her dad would probably be pretty good. I am also pretty sure that she does have some security, but it is private, not gum't.
Besides, Sarah can handle a gun pretty well, and I wouldn't be surprised that if the occasion arose...

When asked which child was most like her, Sarah once said, “Piper”.
To: EQAndyBuzz
Whoopi wouldn’t have a clue..........she murders her children so they don’t get in her way.

Piper’s a little tough, no doubt about it. I watched her on Sarah’s show, and she needs to learn a little graciousness.
That being said, she’s being raised in a goldfish bowl and she’s probably become very adept at protecting herself and her family. And she is at that age where graciousness is not common.

That being said, shes being raised in a goldfish bowl ...and may be getting sick of it if the last clip is any indication.
To: I still care
She’s not the one needing grace here, seems to me you’re a bit short in that department along with Christian charity. Or do you merely pay lip service to that which you profess.

Yes, there was another snarkier one that just focused on the shoving. This one disguised it better.
To: Free America52
Maybe I read it wrong - but is that a snarky little hit piece on Piper?Certainly sounded like it. The woman presenting it sounded how old Piper is, and Piper more the age of the woman presenting the news.

A candidate could take every measure to make sure their family is left out of everything, but it’s the media that often decides to bring them into it.

Piper pickled a peck of pinkie press peeps.
To: Free America52
Sure it is-—my point is, Sarah’s not going to react to it—she’s playing them like a drum.

Its wonderful on the one hand to be a familiy-oriented candidate. On the other, one is making ones children fair game by initiating their inclusion in the political process. Piper has the natural spunk to stand up for herself - and her mom. Just maybe Mom's idea is to expose and train Piper from the get go how to handle the press, knowing that she will always be a target.
By the time Piper's on her own - if anyone gets broadsided, it'll be the press, not Piper.

When children are brought into political activity by their parents, the parents can no longer appeal to the press to leave their children alone, even years down the road.On the other, one is making ones children fair game by initiating their inclusion in the political process.
The press wasn't invited nor informed of where the Palins were going. The press chased them. Sarah is not a candidate at this time. The press intruded. The Palins did not include Piper in the "political process". The press did.

Just a thought...It's worth a penny for sure. A zinc one. The perverted cabal of mouth breathing swine that we call "The Press" has been way out of bounds on the treatment of this family since 2008. They never treated Web Hubbell's kid that way. I'm no Palin zombie, but even I see red at the way the Palin's have been screwed over. Something smarmy and European (redundant?) about your post.
