The normally completely mellow (field) Lab was, much to my surprise, more than able to chase the hogs down and break their necks by violent shaking before I could command her to drop them. Oh well....
I saw a different side of my dog that I'd never seen before when he did that. That thing had to have been close to a third of his own body weight.
He was damn proud of it, too.
