I know that some on this forum are less than enthusiastic about Perry, but I hope he runs and snags the nomination. In my view, while he isn’t perfect he’s a very solid choice, sufficiently conservative on most issues and also has a reasonably good shot at beating the Resident.
I agree with you, I have the same take on Perry.
