“The cadet was expelled from West Point..”

The article said “demoted” so I guess that is sort of the same thing. I am wondering why West Point would do that? To stop a man’s career because he was beaten up or because he had a few drinks on the plane?

Technically cadets/midshipmen are considered junior officers. So yes, getting expelled after the start of your junior year and being required by contract to serve as an enlisted man is a defacto demotion.

Wth.

Does WP not care about facts. Do all WP Cadets if attacked get “demoted” or is it just white guys that get attacked by thugs of Famous Black people. Come on. West Point has lost a lot of credibility over this one.

My opinion of West Point is in the toilet. Who is the idiot at West Point who decided it’s OK to punish the victim?

This cadet should sue West Point and the Houston cops while he’s at it.

Note my response in the post above. The academy is very squemish anytime alcohol comes into the mix.
