Interesting. I read all 180 comments so far and not a global warmist in the bunch as far as I could tell. I didn’t realize that the global warming issue had become that clearly a right vs. left issue, but apparently it has.

When Bush signed on to the global warming line (early in his second term, I think) I doubt that he really wanted to do so, but at that point most of the policy people in DC sounded like global warming was inevitable (except Imhoffe, who fought it consistently), but since that time we’ve had Climategate and 5 or 6 years of, if anything, cooling temperatures worldwide.

For Romney to still be willing to go the global warming route he’s either a) so plugged into the DC elite circles that he’d never question their prevailing “wisdom” or b) really believes in this boatload of crap and would cram it down our throats just like Obama wants to do.

Either way, I put it right up there with Romneycare as an indication that he’s tone deaf to the electorate in the Republican Party...totally tone deaf. (Although if he listens hard he recognize Taps being played right about now.)

Not so. Tons of people on the left and in the middle know it's crap too. It's non-partisanly viewed as BS.
