MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (Reuters) - Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney broke with Republican orthodoxy on Friday by saying he believes that humans are responsible, at least to some extent, for climate change.
"I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that," he told a crowd of about 200 at a town hall meeting in Manchester, New Hampshire.
"It's important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors."

Why is this considered a bad thing? The Romans were planting citrus groves and vineyards as far north as Hadrian’s Wall, which is the border between what are now England and Scotland. 1000 years ago, the Vikings were building a thriving agricultural colony in Greenland. It is when the cycles turned cold that we had problems

Our problem is that millions of Republican primary voters “think” Romney is conservative. I don’t think these voters are educable.

>Understand, I wasnt. You probably find it as digestible as I...<
I certainly do. There are other candidates out there that could do a real job for US. Palin, Bachmann or even Cain is looking good at this point from what I have seen. But every election season it would appear that the media picks our candidates for us and I am darn sick of it.
I don’t know if you saw this or not, but it is worth the time if you have it to spare. It kind of sums up what I think of Romney. If you dont have the time I can sum it up easier

Mitt, the world may or may not be “getting warmer”.
But one thing that has gone “ice cold” is your candidacy!
Just sayin’....

All threads with Romney and Rino's should have the keywords:
ROMNEY-RINO and RINO-ROMNEY
Why? Because Romney is the epitomy of every RINO and every RINO is like Romney.
Besides, it has a nice ring to it.
Finally, when some one asks you what a RINO is, then just refer to Romney the RINO.
Then that will end what the confusion about what a RINO is and where Mitt Romney stands...

"Romney should run against Obama in the Dem primary."
Yep, sometimes it seems almost as if there is a plot to drive conservatives out of the GOP and into a third party. Similarly, some thought it was the Dems and other leftists who selected McCain to assure the Obama victory.

Look, a number of Republican primaries are “open” primaries, meaning anyone can vote. Romney is banking on getting democrats and leftist independents to get him the REPUBLICAN nomination. He’s angling for non-Republican voters here. . . and I’m afraid he’s strategy might work

So does Pawlenty, Huntsman, Gingrich, and the former Governor from my state Mark Sanford. Romney is against the international treaties. Couric: Whats your position on global warming? Do you believe its man-made or not?
Palin: Well, were the only Arctic state, of course, Alaska. So we feel the impacts more than any other state, up there with the changes in climates. And certainly, it is apparent. We have erosion issues. And we have melting sea ice, of course.
