Thanks Wagglebee. I just don’t understand how anyone could think another person (especially a family member) doesn’t deserve to be fed, hydrated, and cared for in their hour of need. Especially when it costs so little, and requires so little effort.

And keep in mind that the cost of a feeding tube is at least somewhat offset by the fact that the person doesn't have any other food and beverage expenses.
