The lesson to learn from this story is, Don’t commit any interesting crimes.
I would hope so. If you had a valuable dog, and were competing it, and upon calling the vet (bills!) to vomit the dog, discovered that pills had been given your dog, I would guess you would be pretty ticked off.
That is definitely arrest worthy. I would be furious. I would lump that in with robbing a house or vandalizing property.
