America is a christian country founded on christian principals... or am I mistaken?

Yes you are. America was founded as a Country in which all religions could exercise their beliefs freely. They escaped European countries where this was not true.

Christian is not mentioned in the Constitution.

Are you telling me that Vishnu was the Creator who bestows upon us our rights? Buddah? Are you being willfully ignorant or do you genuinely believe the christian God has nothing to do with the founding of America?

The principle of separation of Church and State is premised upon Christianity as the only sound relationship with God with its derivation from the late 1400s.

Yes, the principles upon which the US was founded were Judeo-Christian and not any other pagan or cultic construct.

"Christian is not mentioned in the Constitution."

Jesus Christ, our lord is most certainly mentioned in the Constitution.
