Should PCSD reconsider their policy in deciding whether to use a SWAT team when executing search warrants?
Yes 48%
No 48%
Undecided 4%
Why is it so close? Have they lost their minds, or was the poll question poorly phrased?
A better poll would be how many SWAT to fire and how many to put on trial for murder.
Why should they have all of those guns, body armor, Ninja-soldier costumes, helmet cams, flash grenades, robots, if they don’t get to kill somebody once in a while?
This one is tied 48 - 48.

It's Tucson, Arizona's Berkley.
Everyone who votes “no” should volunteer to execute a search warrant on the next drug dealers house they search.
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
From another article at the link to the poll;
“On Thursday, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik broke his long public silence about the May 5 SWAT shooting that claimed the life of former U.S. Marine Jose Guerena, and sat down for an extended interview with KGUN9 News Anchor Jennifer Waddell. He addressed questions about why authorities felt it necessary to dispatch a SWAT team that day to execute a series of search warrants, and also talked about other issues surrounding the controversial shooting. The sheriff made the startling revelation that he believes Guerena greeted the SWAT team with a rifle that day because Guerena thought he was about to be arrested on a charge of murder.
Guerena has family ties to two people who were shot to death in a double homicide last year. The murders of Cynthia and Manuel Orozco remain unsolved. Someone shot the couple to death in their home on Tucson’s west side March 29 of last year, leaving the victims’ two children orphaned. Sheriff Dupnik declined, however, to say whether their investigation had tied Guerena to that or any other specific murder case. He did say that the office of County Attorney Barbara LaWall has that information and will be releasing it soon.”
I was veerrry careful with the spill chucker this time.
Sheriff that blamed Right-wingers for the shooting of Gabrielle Giffords by Jared Loughner speaks out:
Sheriff Dupnik opens up about fatal SWAT raid
Dipstick's starting to look crazier than Loughner.
I was just finishing the formatting.
“Why should they have all of those guns, body armor, Ninja-soldier costumes, helmet cams, flash grenades, robots, if they dont get to kill somebody once in a while?”
Ouch!
That one hit close to home!
THIS is why they voted for clinton twice...this country is full of idiots!
Sheriff Dupnik opens up about fatal SWAT raid
Yup!
Does it matter who you use, if you already decided to execute someone?
You cannot have a fair and honest investigation when the parties who did the killing are investigating themselves. This is a major CYA time!
I was thinking what would have happen if the mother had seen the man standing out her window, would they have burst through the door and shot her and her little boy dead on sight? Very possible the way these keystone cops acted and reacted.
Yes
60%
No
36%
Huh?
4%
Huge anti-gunner.
The poll is close because Pima County is our states version of San Francisco. Tucson is out of touch with the rest of Az. They are the reason Raul Grijalva stays employed.
