Former National Public Radio CEO Vivian Schiller is expected to land a job at NBC News, sources close to the negotiations told The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday.

Schiller would be in charge of digital projects for the Peacock Network but will not be attached to a particular program, sources added.

Schiller, 49, resigned from her post at NPR in March, following the release of a secretly recorded video that showed another NPR executive discussing government funding and harshly criticizing Republicans and the Tea Party.

She may have media experience....but her ethics and leadership are that of a 20-year old kid. And it’s a fair step down....CEO in organization....and special projects manager in another. At least she won’t be doing any interviews for a long while.

I think she needs to be one of the umpteen millions sitting on the sidelines, not included in the “economic recovery” she and her fellow liberals are touting at NPR.

Thanks tobyhill. NBC must have had an opening for an oversalaried do-nothing partisan shill. The DNC needs some damage control, right away:
Weiner dodged questions and called the producer on the set a "jackass."

It could be argued that this is good news.

Ms. Schiller's presence at NBC can only further degrade the network and hasten their designation.

She cannot help NBC, only harm....

"In charge of digital projects" sounds so much better than "webmaster", doesn't it?
