Islamofascist PM Erdogan was headlining a rally (I think there are election campaigns going on) at a place on the Black Sea, and got more than he expected. Too bad the crowd didn’t manage to tear him limb from limb.

I was in Turkey a couple of days ago (Ephesus) and in that town they are desperate to be “westernised”. I loved it. Businesses everywhere, they love Americans. It was a great time. Now it is a big port town, so that may be why.

Where did you go besides Ephesus? I was stationed in Izmir for 2 years at the NATO base.
They had begun excavations on the side of the hill past the library.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers. As much as I'd like to see that koranimal disappear, I fear it's unlikely to ever occur.

Just there. It was amazing. The people were great and the food fantastic. I was very surprised.

My son married a Turk he met at Rutgers. She and her family are beautiful, thoughtful and kind people. They both were ‘miracle’ babies, so there. God is God, everyone must be saved.

Very nice. Hoping your daughter(INL) is making you’all some good food. The restaurant we frequented told us that Turkey does not import any fruits or vegetables so everything we ate was so beautifully ripe and tasted as good as it looked.
