What have I said that you find to be offensive?

You? Personally??

Little if anything. In fact, you seem to be rationally discussing my theory/input.

Raise the level of dialogue. Be the respect that you want.

That statement, half formed, is more directed to the idea that if we want the respect and votes of the middle of the roaders (who do NOT know what to think, no pretty or nice way to put it) then we need to act in an appropriate manner.

We can stick to our ideological guns on well guns, taxes, government size, progress, energy, Islam, etc. There's no reason to shoot ourselves in the foot by getting down there in the mud with the dems trying to wrestle each other over the pig.

Let them do that. Let our dialogue remain focused on the issues - not on the reality TV aspects of government. We are (should not be) not the party that cares what you do in your bedroom. We're the party that cares about what people in government do to our wallet. To our jobs. To our energy policy. To our allies abroad.

Hit them consistently with an adult message.

So, calling me a liberal is about as accurate as calling me a moron.

Thank you for making my point (imbecile) for me. Oh, did you miss where I DIDN'T call YOU a liberal?

I hate to tell you this, but there are sexual harassment laws

I was wondering where you went, Patricia. Say hello to Mzzz. Ireland, folks. Wow. A new gig. Here on Free Republic. Does it pay well?

Seriously????? Your "conservative" argument is for sexual harassment laws?

Wow. I can't even believe that someone claiming to be conservative would support even the concept, much less a "law" about it. Next you'll be telling me that "You know THERE ARE Affirmative Action Laws"!

Way to go, Skippy. Shoot yourself a little more between the eyes next time you post.

You stupid shit. Those glory days you mock, people were debating real issues of real import to mankind. Now all we get is silliness and mockery.

I think you just made my point for me.

Coverage of government has been reduced to dick jokes.

But the pace of our enslavement hasn't slowed any......

What a contemptuous little creep. This isn't a joke. You were elected to office on your constituents trust and now you're out making crude jokes in public and exposing yourself to strangers on the net?

Resign, and NOW.

You’re perpetually stuck in that fantasy world of yours, aren’t you? Have you paid any attention to politics in the past 30 years? Seriously! You need to either crawl out from under the rock you’ve been under, or return to your troll cave.

Porn Star Says Weiner Sent Her a Private Message

Ginger Lee tweeted to @starchild111: He thanked me for the shout-outs and said he likes my blog. (I died a little inside…in a good way.)

A couple months ago, around the time of this message, @Starchild111 was a high school girl who was trying to get Weiner to be her prom date. She was overjoyed when he followed her, upset when conservatives laughed that Weiner was trolling the school yard, and dismayed when he unfollowed her. Starchild has deleted her twitter account. I only just found her last night, so I have no knowledge of when she deleted it, but I have found tweets by her as recent as May 18.

Starchild is not the only teenage girl with a crush on Weiner that he has followed. There’s another one that he has apparently had an on-again, off-again following involvement with for a couple months. And he’s currently following her again now.

Wow. I can’t even believe that someone claiming to be conservative would support even the concept, much less a “law” about it.”

—The law is the law. I might not agree with a law and want it changed ASAP (Roe, for example), or have concerns about how broadly a law is being interpreted, but until the law is changed... it’s the law. I know this is a difficult concept for leftist trolls to comprehend, but hey.

And if a law benefits me, I fully intend to use it.

There’s no need for what Mr. Weiner did today. And the fact that you refuse to condemn his behavior while you attempt to dodge the matter, speaks volumes about you...

His behavior needs simply to be condemned, not debated.

Who is more foolish, the fool or those who argue with him.

Let those who endorse him be grouped together with him.

So conservatives have a bad name because we’re not nice enough, and liberals do not have a bad name because...

Isnt' that true? The press turns them into monsters with "Throwing grandma out in the street", "old people eating dog food" , "Cut cut cut cut cut cut" etc.

So yeah. Why make it worse? When the dust settles, the next time any Republican slips up they will use Weiner as the excuse ---- "Republicans sure poked their noses in when it was democrat".

And then you'll be forced to hang someone on our side out to dry.

But again, I do not cede the idea that EVERYTHING is a Public issue. That's insane.

Forget C-Span. Might as well hire MTV to cover Congress if that's the road we're going down.

Coverage of government has been reduced to dick jokes.

So, wait, what?!

The coverage is reduced to that because it's A DEMOCRAT.

Are you too dense to notice that the mocking media gets all serious when it's a Republican who's engaged in some "private transgression."

And you're trying to lay blame for that at the feet of conservatives?

Like I said, concern troll.

When a Republican "slips up" we throw them out on our own.

But you wouldn't know that, would you?

It's even more difficult, actually impossible, for someone with a real moral compass to accept. I do not. I refute it. An immoral law is no law. (And neither is a blatantly unconstitutional one.)

But thanks for playing.

And if a law benefits me, I fully intend to use it.

Spoken like a true jackboot. Let your inner thug flag fly!!!

It's a photo. R rated at worst... Sent from a PRIVATE communications terminal to another one.

If it was sent from a PRIVATE communcations terminal to another one, the whole world wouldn't know about it.

Apparently, a large part of the Democratic party upper echelon has ties with the islamo-fascist movement, which is really, IMHO, just a tool being used by a few billionaires and political psychopaths who are very powerful and wish for nothing more than an "post-American" era to come about.

Quite perceptive.

I think I've made that point all over the thread. And said that IN SPITE OF THAT, we must behave how we wish to be treated. And not stoop to the level of those beneath us. We do not gain by playing in the slime smear box of the mainstream media. That is not what advances our cause.

The entire concept that you think you can play on their pig field is ridiculous. We will only lose ground for it. They have unlimited amounts of sewage. You cannot outmaster them at that game.

Hit them like Reagan did. (And like someone who starts with "Sarah" is doing.). With a constant message of freedom. And do not let them have the ball so they can change the game.

Getting down in the mud is not rational. It doesn't matter how gratifying it is because they did us dirty first. They will merely do so AGAIN.

And you're trying to lay blame for that at the feet of conservatives?

I am laying the blame for conservatives and fellow travelers who are posting and reposting and writing and finger pointing and moralizing and running amok over this. Yes.

I do not care if some section of the left wants to beat up another section of the left over it. Sit back and get the popcorn.

We can say things like "It's not really our concern" or "Well, if the adults were in charge.", etc....

Moral high ground. Use it.

There was a Rep whose wiener
Was shorter than others and leaner
He sent a pic to a girl
Who saw it unfurled
She died laughing; you should’ve seen her.
