“GOP Freshman Jeff Landry (R-LA) announced today that he would skip the meeting with Barack Obama at the White House. “I don’t intend to spend my morning being lectured to by a president whose failed policies have put our children and grandchildren in a huge burden of debt.”
This ranks as a rare act of honesty and courage right up there with Joe Wilson shouting out “You lie” to Pres. JugEars in the House chamber.
Bravo and kudos.
Rep. Landry may have to start “packing heat” if he isn’t already doing so.
