No political blood was spilled as President Obama and House Republicans spent the better part of 90 minutes discussing the economy, the debt limit and job creation.

Just saw a poll on a cable station (not sure which one) showing Obama with a 54% approval rating. How can that be??? Are Americans really that stupid? Discouraging.

Republicans better get it quickly. The economy has never recovered and is now going further down. When I say get it, I mean POTUS Obama is out to destroy America. period!!! The sooner the Republican Party clashes with and defeats Obama, the America hater, the better off the country will be. Now, Palin, Trump, Bachman, Paul, West, Cain, etc. get it!!! Obama should be broomed, not by Republicans, but by his own Democrat Party!!! He should be forced to resign or be impeached immediately!!! If not, the entire Democrat Party will go down with him in November, 2012!!! Democrats, your time to doom Obama is running out quickly!!!

There is no hurry at all. No debt increase puts all the burden on cutting spending. There is no way that tax increases are going to pass with this economy.
Amen. The GOP holds the Ace in the hole on the debt ceiling vote. That meeting should have been less than 10 minutes long. Boehner and company should have laid down the agenda, no negotiating and walked away. Take it or leave it. Thats what the Dems do.

Then the poseur is impeached, all laws that he signed are void, we get rid of Obamacare, Dodd/Frank; get the unspent stimulous money back in our treasury, fire all the czars, maybe a do-over at the SCOTUS, and start over with weak-kneed Plugs at the helm.
