Sorry Sarah fumbled on the answer and let this twerp get to her
response:
“This tour is being funded by SarahPac, a federally registered political action committee dedicated to building America’s future by supporting fresh ideas and candidates who share my vision for reform and innovation.
All contributions are voluntary. Note that my family is using a personal RV to minimize expenses.
Next question?”
You're assuming this twit is reporting the exchange accurately.
I contributed, recurring, $20.12....that oughta take that RV down the road 25 miles.
Go Sarah. Tell them, at least it’s not taxpayer money ( and name any of Barry’s junkets).
i disagree. being a private citizen, she doesn’t have to answer such a question... and shouldn’t. your answer sounds evasive as if it’s trying to hide something.
the answer:
“as a private citizen, my travel expenses do not cost the taxpayer one cent.”
Yep. I've thought this could be a problem for a while. Lot's of folks are giving money in hopes of her running. If she doesn't, there will be some fallout.
Not really a fumble.
Sarah recognized an agenda driven question and responded with a question herself (Why would you ask a question like that?), to shift the focus from the subject of the question to the motivation to ask the question. It exposed the "reporter" as a biased political shill.
There are better ways to do this for the general public, but no comment that worked well to destroy the "reporter's" credibility would be reported (smirk) by ABC.
