"How am I paying for it? SarahPAC," she said, adding that she's traveling in "our own personal motor home that we've had in Alaska."
Palin didn't answer when asked how long she's owned the bus that's adorned with the Constitution and a larger-than-life version of her signature. When asked, twice, how much her "One Nation Tour" has cost four days into the trip, she got visibly irritated.
"Check SarahPAC.com," she said. "I don't know why in the world you would ask a question like that. I'm just thinking about America and our foundations and our freedoms and our opportunities. Why would you ask something ..."
ABC News pointed out that she often talks about the economy and how much money we're spending.
"What does our economy have to do with how much we're -- I'm not asking you to pay for a penny of this trip," she said.
Cue the national anthem: the conversation was cut short when a group of school children visiting the monument launched into "The Star Spangled Banner."
SaraPAC.com does not currently offer any information about how much money has been spent on the tour. It does, however, feature a big green "Donate" button, inviting visitors to help fund Palin's trip across the nation.
donate????? => Adverisements on sites like Drudgereport.com also encourage Palin fans to donate.
There's a difference? I thought all money was the government's. That's why tax cuts are a form of government spending, the one type of spending that the far left fringe wants curtailed.
Well, technically it is taxpayer money since taxpayers are free to send her money. The difference is that the money sent to SarahPAC is freely given rather than confiscated...err excuse me, redistributed, by force of law.
ABC News with Sheila Marikar “reporting”.
ABC NEWS
SHEILA MARIKAR
Says it all.
The “I HATE Sarah Palin” campaign continues.
You're assuming this twit is reporting the exchange accurately.
None of your —— business, Sheila!
Right on. That would have been the proper response.
Yep. Money given to SarahPAC is freely donated by the public. Money acquired by taxation is confiscated. Not too hard to see the difference unless your a dimwit liberal who can't think beyond their own biases.
what we need is a continuing list of the msm:
their salaries,
bankruptcies,
marriages and affairs,
crimes,
etc.
She should have asked...”Why? Are you paying for my trip? If not, it’s NONE of your business!!”
It is not a personal vacation
It is funded by her PAC and has a political mission
Nothing wrong with that. No one forces anyone to donate to “SarahPac”
Unlike our taxes that support obama and wookie on their 5-star diplovacations
Why don't you go and ask the Muslim who is paying for all his vacations and all the gas the free loaders are using twenty four hours a day...No he is suppose to tell that since he is using our money for it..She doesn't have to tell you a damn thing since she is not one of our elected officials, but your president is..
“I’m not asking you to pay for a penny of this trip,” she said.”
That seems like a perfect retort.
Colonel, USAFR
Palin got “visibly irritated” with a journolist hoping to find dirt (and/or making dirt up where it doesn’t exist)? Now, THAT’s news!

Haw haw haw
And I guess that Sheila never bothered to watch Sarah Palin's Alaska, where she would have seen the Palin family driving around in that very same RV (carrying the same Alaska license plates).
palinphobia
Uhmmm... "we" as in OUR FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.
Is this chick actually so stupid that she's fundamentally misunderstood the greatest issue of our generation?
I understand that journalists are amongst the dumbest "professionals" out there, but this is beyond the pale.

I contributed, recurring, $20.12....that oughta take that RV down the road 25 miles.
Go Sarah. Tell them, at least it’s not taxpayer money ( and name any of Barry’s junkets).
