McCain’s campaign died the moment he cancelled on David Letterman, claiming to be in Washington when he was in the next studio prepping to be interviewed by Katie Couric.
I think it died when he suspended his campaign to go back to Washington and vote the same way as Obama on TARP. The American public knew at that moment that there was no candidate representing them in the race. Even the effing Libertarian was a global warmer for God’s sake.
