When most politicians say “invest in infrastructure”, they really mean paying off their cronies. The infrastructure never seems to be improved.
When Sarah Palin says to invest in infrastructure, she really means FIX IT. She has a good sense of getting value for the dollar spent.
Indeed she does. I have more issue with her specific choice of words rather than the overall sentiment. As I said though, it was a 2 second soundbite where there wasn’t time to delve deeply into the issue.
