DeMint is my senator and I would love to see him run. I would ideally like to see Palin/DeMint or DeMint/Palin.
To use a tired old phrase, “at the end of the day”, we just simply have to kick obama out of office, that is the bottom line.

DeMint has no fire in the belly, just like Huck and Daniels, and Fred Thompson before them.
If he has to be talked into it, then imagine how lame his potential campaign events would be if he really doesn't want the job and doesn't put the energy required into winning it.

Now we are talking! A one of a kind true blue American conservative. He would carry big coattails if he ran, too.IMHO he is this country’s best chance to get back on the right path.

I think he's trying to force some of the fence sitters to commit, one way or the other.
I see one problem with a DeMint run. Right now the SC primary will be crucial in picking the nominee. If DeMint runs, it becomes meaningless..everyone else will skip it..

Holy %$#&^!
This would change everything. I would support DeMint in a heartbeat. I have always had some reservations about what kind of candidate the soft-spoken, genteel DeMint would make, but he'd be a fabulous president.

I don’t think he is running. He is being polite by giving consideration to people who are supportive. I would much prefer him to throw his support behind Cain, who IS running and who is a great candidate.
