Its ludicrous, he said. It takes forever, it costs a lot of money, and nobody would do it. Back in 1970 I heard an environmental activist say (on the first Earth Day) that Environmentalism/Ecology was the perfect "cause" because it could justify regulatory (government) control and coordination of EVERYTHING.
And people were cheering this. But I was thinking (dimly) "Wha....?"

With the EPA now classifying CO2 as a pollutant pretty much allows them to regulate any activity out of existence including breathing.
