Prosecutors filed charges against 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four alleged co-conspirators, bringing the five a step closer to facing a Guantanamo military tribunal. The charges, which must now be approved by a tribunal official, set the stage for the highest-profile Al-Qaeda suspects in custody to finally face justice almost a decade after the attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people.

I wouldn’t put it past this administration to take the death penalty off the table. They’re certainly working hard to keep states from holding executions through the FDA attacks on sodium thiopental sources.
Undoubtedly they’ll find KSM guilty during the week leading up to the 2012 election. KSM will go along with it because he shares the goal of destroying America, and re-electing Obama is the best way to do it.
