You were the one that tended to criticize Palin.

Unquestioning fealty to any politician is always a mistake and will always lead to disappointment. But actually, I don't recall criticizing Sarah Palin. I like her, I think she's been treated very unfairly by the media and I hope she runs for the presidency. Could you point me to instances where I criticized her?

Loyalty to a candidate and “unquestioned fealty” are not the same thing. Maybe you had unquestioned fealty to Ross Perot, causing your cynicism. Loyalty is not “always” a mistake and “always” lead to disappointment. Loyalty is a good thing, not a bad thing. You are pontificating kinda like the Krauthead.

Tea party members have every right to come to the defense of the candidate(s) they support including castigating those who demean or belittle them. By implying that Cain’s supposed suck@$$ with those guys was good, the inference was that Palin’s failure to do so was bad.

Palin does quite well in dealings with the media - thank you very much.
