When America was building the ships for the invasion and the supply of England the builders were not stopped by anti-pollution laws, unions were neutered during the war, and businessmen were not considered the most evil of the evil. Now the EPA practically lives in the steel mills that are left, the unions are willing to sacrifice the entire nation to protect their wages and businessmen are subjected to constant and unrelenting propaganda war against them, their economic roles and their characters.

There is no wonder why so much of our industry has been driven out of the country only why there is anything left at all. None of this is the result of free trade.

Business going overseas IS the result of “free trade” . You know absolutely NOTHING about the system you defend.

Your ignorance is showing yet again! The free traitors committed to the EPA in the 'free trade' agreements that the United States would follow the path of 'sustainable development' with the EPA issuing the regulations. The free traitors use the EPA as a weapon against domestic manufacturers giving the other countries in the FTA a competitive advantage.

The free traitor agenda as demonstrated ad nauseum is, hobble the US economy, go to the communist Chinese and say, see? the US can't manufacture this any more because of environmental regulations, then the chinese in turn give them that sweet sweet slave labor deal they crave.

  1. Red Herring No. 1 builders were not stopped by anti-pollution laws,

Ok, the EPA adds maybe a small fraction of the total cost of steel, steel can be made cleanly. I would prefer no EPA but that is a long term goal. No reason to spike a strategic industry because of it?

  2. Red herring no. 2unions were neutered during the war

There are non-union steel mills in the south(a few are left) I would say the 22 right-to-work states could put unions out of business. BTW, union membership is ONLY 6% of the working population.

  3. Red Herring No. 3unrelenting propaganda war against them,

You are going to find it hard to find someone that feels sorry for executives and CEOs that make 500K to 1M bucks per year. I am sure if their feelings are hurt, they can move to CHINA THEN!
