I listened to the segment at issue and can confidently say that Handel is NOT taking Ed Schultz’s side. It’s a bit like Rush’s “illustrating absurdity by being absurd” — using irony. I just completely disagree with Jack Coleman’s take, here, that Handel was being serious/literal.

yep. Bill says annoying things just to get a rise or sound absurd sometimes. I used to be a regular listener, but Ive grown tired of him. I do like Gary Hoffman, his funny guy with the voices. He has a show on the weekend that’s a pretty straightforward and entertaining take on the weeks news.

I used to listen to Handel in the morning regularly. I must admit, I have been caught by this very thing numerous times.

It's Handel's schtick. But he can be a bit one sided. I think a lot of that has to with that moronic lib co-host/sidekick Rich Marotta.
