I disagree, just because we put someone so unqualified in office, does not mean that we now can remove the qualifications for office. If anything, we need to be more insistent on qualifications. I see that as a matter of principle, but it will have practical implications as well. If Obama's popularity is still in the dumps come election time, a major issue could be made that it was a mistake to elect someone with so few qualifications.
