I didn’t mean federal, I meant federal or state (such as governor, as you point out) and I find that there were a couple without. However, there has NEVER been a president without government experience that was either elected, appointed or flag officer. Mr. Cain has none of the above. I am not denigrating him, just pointing something out, although I was imprecise. If he was elected, I’d be much happier than I am now or if someone like Willard was in there.

Dear Friend,

Well, I for one have not settled and have five favorites so far (three not yet announced), but I will say this. I am SO WILLING to think out of the box for 2012, make American HISTORY, foment a People's Revolution against the tyranny that currently oppresses us and will exponentially multiply in evil if re-elected in 2012, and accordingly entertain the heresy that it is actually more difficult in many respects to run a business, a major coast to coast national business at that, than it is to execute the duties of a United States Senator, Representative, and in some states, governorship. At least I have worked closely with the people in and out of government, and by and far those with the greatest grasp of management, budget control, executive experience, turnaround/people skills, definitely herald from the ranks of American business rather than American government (it was not always that way by the way). Comparing for example Capitol Hill staffers to staffers of the same age and experience at some major IT firms is like comparing rotten apples to apples.

I have nothing bad to say about Sarah Palin (one of the five patriotic dynamos that are quite acceptable to me), but I think that a) Herman Cain could electrify this 2012 race so easily, and b) absolutely, definitely take ol' Obongo to the cleaners during any debate were they to have. Obongo would be like a deer in the headlights...heaven help him if his teleprompter would fail, Herman Cain would absolutely clean his freaking clock. I know it in my heart of hearts. Seen Herman Cain in action in too many videos now and live streams (plus South Carolina debate) to think otherwise.
