Bibi: UN Statehood for PA is Like Declaring the World is Flat

If the United Nations in September declares the Palestinian Authority to be a state, it might as well decide the world is flat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee Monday.

He said Israel cannot stop the resolution from going forward and has few friends n the international body, but a veto from any member of the United Nations Security Council would block the proposal from reaching the General Assembly, whose anti-Israel majority likely would approve it.

"The General Assembly cannot take the initiative but we are ready to do our work as soon as a recommendation of the Security Council would be addressed,” Joseph Deiss, president of the General Assembly said at a recent news conference.

A recommendation for a new member of the United Nations must come from the Security Council, whose permanent members are the United States, Britain, France, China and Russia. U.S. President Barack Obama stated last week that it would be a mistake to declare the Palestinian Authority as a state without negotiations, but he has not specifically stated he would order a veto when the Arab League proposal comes up for a vote.

Bibi: UN Statehood for PA is Like Declaring the World is Flat

Actually, Bibi is wrong because the palestinians already have a homeland and it's called Jordan.

Please watch YouTube video parts One AND Two.

Jordan IS Palestine.

Thank you. The vaunted “two state solution” was instituted the day Israel was born.

Palestine was divided into two parts. A sliver was set aside for the jewish palestinians, and was renamed “Israel”. The remainder was set aside for arab palestinians, and renamed “Jordan”. “Israel” is jewish palestine, although arabs were welcome to remain, and “Jordan” was arab palestine.

The exact borders between the two palestines is something for Israel and Jordan to work out between them. No one else has any standing in the discussion.

A third, “independent” state sandwiched between the two existing palestines, will never exist in reality. They can declare it all day long, but it is not viable. It has no economy. It has no sources of employment. It produces nothing. Its only hope is for its people to get rid of the outlaws who currently control it and reintegrate themselves to their home country, and make peace with their neighbor. Until they do, they continue to be complicit in their own misery.

As much as he would love to let it go through, if he does, it will cost him the election.

Don’t expect any help from Obackstabber.

If he wants re-elected, he will authorize a veto, just like, in the end, he authorized the takedown of OBL. He has no alternative...

If a world-wide Khalifate is established, he won’t need reelection.

Is that the intent of some? Certainly, it is. Is it possible to be accomplished in a little over a year's time? Much dicier.

In fact the timeline is actually a few months, as the current plan calls for the push for UN statehood for the PA is September, a little over three months hence. That is even dicier, although I admit they've made a beginning.

No, I stand by my comment. He has no realistic alternative...

Dicy, yes. Inconceivable, no. The Ottomans overthrew the Mamluks in one year. I doubt that the US is quite as susceptible, especially since the Ottomans had guns and cannons, and the Mamluks did not. But both the Ottomans had and the Islamofascists have a strong corps of fifth columnists, in this case a POTUS. Whether or not he vetos is a good barometer as to how close he is to no longer needing worry about reelection. On the other hand, he might just be stupid.

Interestingly enough, I was examining some things at an eschatological site only last night, which postulated something which those words you posted struck a definite chord. The authors of the site postulated a Neo-Ottoman Empire, or Caliphate, possibly on the rise. Not a world-wide affair, but definitely a regional one. It would still be more than a year away from fruition, if it comes to pass at all, and would before all was said and done, require that Egypt be subordinated to Turkey, who has interestingly enough, grown closer and closer to Iran.

By reason of geography alone, such an endeavor would have to be centered in Turkey, and the prevailing signs and political climate lend credence to the possibility. One sign was most telling, in that Ajemenehad had "prayed behind" a Turkish Sunni imam, at Islamic services on a recent visit to Turkey. The reason this is telling is that it could be construed as a public declaration that Shiite Iran would be willing to follow a Sunni based caliphate.

So, it appears that the seeds of a unified Caliphate, or Neo-Ottoman Empire are being planted, but it will require more than a year to see it come to fruition, at even a regional basis, let alone world-wide, with a number of possible roadblocks along the way...
