So they will spend at lest 3 BILLION dollars to build wind turbines, that will only work when it is windy, yet they can use natural gas at 1/15 of the cost. That makes sense.

IIRC, the last nuclear plant built in the US cost around 6 billion, and that works with or without wind and sun.

Worth a reminder that the British Government is committed to building 10 new nuclear plants in the next decade - that's rather more than are planned in the US, the last I heard.
