I’m the kind that drives 0 to 5 miles per hour over the speed limit, give others the right-of-way, and slows for idiots who think an on-ramp is their personal invitation to cut-in.
My driving technique seems to annoy quite a few. But no tickets, no accidents, and I get there roughly the same time as they do.

Actually, it is. The whole idea of merging traffic is that both sides cooperate with each other. I compare it to a zipper.
I was always taught that when you’re driving on an expressway in the right lane, and there’s a car entering from an on ramp, you should move to the left lane to let them on, if it’s safe to do so.
