McGyver was a cop? Huh?
I think MacGyver was a former Bomb technician, Taxi driver, Hockey player, F1 driver and probably many other things and the show “tricked” kids to pay attention in school in hopes of some day being able to do the cool things he did.
What I found strange about American movies was often repeated scene where the Bad Guy says “drop the gun” and Good Guy does so. As if to develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
