A—A move most Scottish people didnt support.

So what have they done about it?

B—Now you feel how we felt when YOUR courts and politicians used to release/cosy up to IRA terrorists in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Well, the point b is to get your high horse about terrorism.

Americans were rightly angry at Scotland for the Megrahi decision, however my point was that America made morally repugnant decisions re the IRA in years gone by, and perhaps after Megrahi you will understand how disgusted we were for many years as American politicians, both Republican and Democrat, cosied up to an Irish-American lobby that actively supported the IRA, and East Coast courts that swallowed the IRA’s bunkum in court and treated terrorist murderers of innocent men women and children like naughty little schoolboys.
