It sounds like if the Postal Union was out of the picture that the USPS could at least break even. Even if they closed down Post Offices it won't mean squat since they cannot lay off workers.
I can say this though... the day the USPS charges me to receive mail is the day I stop bothering to check it, forever. I will not pay to receive junk.
Can't lay off workers ~ so much BS ~ so little time. I went through a good 20 REORGANIZATIONS in 40 years ~ and people were laid off.
You should study up on this stuff first.
