There are a lot of smaller metro areas that are catch basins for the debris of the welfare state, pine bluff Ar, Helena Ar, Jackson both Tn and Ms, Lake Charles La. and the Southern rival of Flint Baton Rouge.

The last time I went to Benton harbor was 1997................then it was a hell hole.

We would land there and then drive through the "city" to get to St. Joe, so we could eat at Clemetines or Hi's.

Colder than anything, 90 degree cross winds and hoodlums.........I sure don't miss that place.
