More of the Time Magazine story from the 70’s. Graduating high school in 1969 and being at the forefront of the ‘Women's Empowerment’ movement, I used to believe that children were born rather ‘gender neutral’. Then I gave birth to a son. He has been all boy from day one. Psychologists are doing a great disservice to children when they pretend that everything is acceptable, no matter who you think you are. It is a neurosis that might be treatable if the Doctors would get off the ‘I'm ok, you're ok no matter who you think you are’ mantra. I read there is an inordinate number of suicides in ‘transgendered people’ No surprise. Maybe they are treatable. The Doctors should try, at least.
