If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I quoted your comment. And on the property taxes, are you sure that your assessed value went down? What the assessed value ought to do may be different from what it does in reality. My assessed value did not go down. I'm paying more AGAIN this year.

Yes, I live in Tarrant County and my assessed value did go down. My property taxes were over $6500 in 2004 and are now around $5000-ish.
