actually, 3000 dollars is not high for a well fitted dress.
Women’s dresses rarely fit most of us, and unlike Men’s suits, they don’t alter them for free (my mother used to work at home altering dresses for rich ladies).
I mean Obama wears 3000 dollar suits, not those from JC Penney, and the last time Michelle visited the Queen, she wore a JC Crew teeshirt and the Brits made fun of her, and now she wears a good dress and they still make fun of her.
Get real.
I read that she receives duplicates in various custom-sized designer pieces, thus under-valuating the true cost.
A high priced dress isn’t necessarily a good dress.
