Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has ignited a fresh brushfire of chatter over a possible candidacy on Thursday when she announced a nationwide, campaign-style bus tour to begin Sunday.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who some think could make a stronger run than any of the current candidates, said he's going to "think about" a bid.
CNN Poll:
Giuliani 16%
Romney 15%
Palin 13%

We haven’t had a ‘strong conservative’ candidate in 27 years.
The polls now may show Rudy in the lead, but my money says he doesn’t get the nom or anywhere near it.
Now, I like Giuliani on certain issues, and I *do* think there’s a place for a guy like that in a GOP administration. I’d love to see him at Homeland Security, for example. I just don’t think he’s the right guy at all for the top of the ticket. And I think most conservatives feel the same way.
“He was pushed like hell last time and totally bombed. What exactly makes his hand stronger now?”
But he didn’t. He camped out in Florida instead of campaigning in the early states and lost all the primaries as a consequence.
The number of conservative candidates in the race create a window for a liberal like Giuliani to corner the independent/moderate market. That’s concerning. Especially since many states have open primaries.
Not so surprising since the CA GOP has been run by cross-dressers for decades. The cross-dressers, I'm referring to the radical liberals claiming to be RINOs and the've been voting for more goodies for non-taxpayers since Ronald Reagan left for the White House.
So sad CA GOP, but you've drifted so far left, we can't see you anymore.
Bye, Bye and will the last living taxpayer leaving the state, please turn out turn out the lights!
Oh good, I’m not the only one.
FR threads are going bold face large type at their own whim.
I hate it.
Yeah, like Lazlo in PA
said, he totally bombed.
Rudy should run against Chuck Schumer if he wants to be useful.
I’ve been noticing this on several threads. I’m glad that I’m not the onlyone seeing this.........
473 Republicans polled. 4.5 margin of error. Standard name ID poll, but does indicate that the Republican Party is all over the board on a favorite candidate...that’s good, because it gives room for a conservative to grow in the race.
AAAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKKK.....:):):)
CNN uses the Dartboard Polling Company to determine the popularity of the candidates. /sarc
Then that is great news. Myth has definitely positioned himself to shoot for those people with his BS response to Romneycare. Rudy will just siphon votes from that toad. Conservatives and TP folks are not going to go for Rudy's NE Rockefeller Repub routine.
So Rudy gets to extend his record of polls won without coming remotely close to ever winning the nomination.
>We havent had a strong conservative candidate in 27 years.
Well past time then.
“Rush Limbraugh said on Greta’s ‘On the Record’ (Fox) last night when asked who would his ‘dream candidate’ be, answered, ‘Rick Perry’.”
I missed that. I agree with Rush, definitely.
I think if we use the criteria that we should use: who is the most conservative GOP candidate who can actually defeat Obama, that’s Perry. I don’t think any of the other GOP candidates could beat Obama.
I think he’ll run. I think he’ll win the nomination...I KNOW he’ll then pick Palin and I know he’ll then win. Then Palin will run years down the road and she’ll win and then Rubio...and who knows about him...but it’s a good sequence. I’d prefer someone more conservative, but I think we have a descent chance to add some conservative judges to the roster and that’s all that counts in the long-run.
Google “Rush Limbaugh, Rick Perry”. The relationship is almost sickening.
