Lech Walesa snubs Obama, fellow Nobel winner

Lech Walesa, Poland's Solidarity-era legend, ex-president and 1983 Nobel Peace Prize winner said Friday he would not accept an invitation to meet with fellow Nobel winner US President Barack Obama.

"It's difficult to tell journalists what you'd like to say to the president of a superpower. This time I won't tell him, I won't meet him, it doesn't suit me," Walesa told Poland's public broadcaster TVP.

Obama is due to arrive in Poland later Friday after the G8 summit in France.

Walesa was originally scheduled to meet Obama Saturday along with other key figures in Poland's post-1989 transition from communism to democracy.

Walesa ought to make plans to drum up Polish-American anger in 2012. That would really bum Obummer out...

Go google "September 17 2009 Obama Poland" to see why Americans of Polish descent ought to despise Teh Won.

"It's difficult to tell journalists what you'd like to say to the president of a superpower. This time I won't tell him, I won't meet him, it doesn't suit me," Walesa told Poland's public broadcaster TVP...

More from the Polish TVP article from which the above quote was taken (translation):
In his statement, Walesa remarked that "The president of the only superpower is visiting - and that's very significant.  This arrival is itself a great matter; [but] with respect to the contents - we shall see.  Until recently, the contents has been really poor, almost always" - he stressed.

An excerpt from a follow up TVP article (Saturday May 28 - translation):
Walesa, who is a special guest of the Bible Festival in Vicenza [Italy], when asked about his absence at the meeting with the American leader, said: "There was nothing to discuss with President Obama. I preferred to be here with you, in Vicenza".

The USA would have better leadership if all elected positions from President on down were chosen by random lot.

Walesa recognizes when an organizer of community illiterates seeks to use him for a photo-op. The ghetto rat some call a prez, is unfit to shine a real man’s shoes.

Walesa’s Nobel Prize differs from Obama’s in that Walesa’s Prize was for actual accomplishments, not imagined ones.

Lech Walesa was a type of union man we no longer have in this country. One that fights communism...

There aren't many around who say what they mean and mean what they say as Lech Walesa.

Yet today it is common to have the corporate titans and bankers and many in Congress in bed and up tight with Communism and they call it free trade. When you hear about the unions having contracts, one can't overlook that CEOs always have air tight employment contracts that protect them regardless of how incompetent they are.

There are only a few politicians in the USA that have any principles that serves the nation. Most have one principle, "how much can I get from lobbyists to get reelected if I vote yes (or no)?"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/27/berlusconi-obama-g8-summit_n_867985.html?ncid=txtlnkushuff00000001

ROME — Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi has taken his claim that he is being persecuted by leftist judges to the G-8 summit, telling a clearly perplexed President Barack Obama that in Italy they represent “almost a dictatorship.”

His comments carried on Italian TV news broadcasts from the summit in Deauville, France, set off a barrage of criticism Friday from Italian magistrates and his political opponents.

Italians are used to such statements from Berlusconi, but Obama seemed surprised when Berlusconi approached him and said through an interpreter that his government has proposed a judicial reform because “we have almost a dictatorship of leftist judges.”

Lech Walesa knows a commie when he sees one, no doubt about that.
All what communism, socialism or what ever its called has achieved is unspeakable terror and suffering and death for tens of millions of innocent people.
All this in the “Name of the People” since Robespierre,Stalin, Hitler and Mao just to name a few.
Will history repeat itself ?

And once again, 'the leader of the free world' is beaten like a rented mule by somebody who actually deserves the aforementioned title for past deeds...
