After spending the day in Chicago fundraising, Mitt Romney sat down with small business owners at Gino's East, a pizza joint famous for their deep-dish pizza.
Not wanting any of the leftover slices to go to waste, Romney sent the remaining pies to where else but President Obama's Chicago reelection headquarters.
Asked if the pies actually made it to Obama's HQ, a campaign source said that they had.
In fact, Romney himself tweeted a photo of a delivery boy heading out with the loot, writing, "Great deep dish at @ginoseast. Sending the extra slices to @barackobama and his Chicago HQ team."
Presidential hopeful Tim Pawlenty also took a swipe at Obama today with this tweet: "@barackobama sorry to interrupt the European pub crawl, but what was your Medicare plan?"
NB: the direct attacks and mockery of Obama. This is an important change over 2008. GOP candidates cannot allow Obama to remain untouchable. He's got to be personally attacked as aloof, dangerously stupid and ineffective as an American President.
'Honest' ad hominem attacks can be clearly and strongly supported by Obama's own record of run-of-the-mill gaffes and his actual policies. Obama is a mix of the worst parts of Carter (are there any good parts?), Nixon, and Clinton.
Regardless of who your personal candidate is, every candidate, particularly current front runners need to attack Obama relentlessly. That will break the ice for our eventual nominee.
Kid stuff. Embarrassing.
Yup. What a sense of humor! The hairnet Romney wears to bed each night must be wound too tight.
And this is funny, how?
You’re wrong. You’ve got to draw attention, directly and personally to the man and his failures. These cannot be just policy missteps, but must point out that the person himself is incapable of leading.
Ignore Romney and think on the importance of destroying Obama as a viable alternative in the minds of the mushy middle. That’s the ground we’re fighting for.
Either you get it or you don’t.
RINOS!! SNORRRRRRRE.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzz
Must be an inside joke.

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off .hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

What the hell ... I kind'a like the idea of sending sloppy seconds to zero's crowd.
That's the way they've treated us for two years. We are mature politically, but we don't enjoy the 'game' the way the enemy does, because we're 'so above them'
America's time is short unless dramatic changes occur.
I get it and I think what Romney's doing is good. I especially like the European pub crawl remark, 'cause that's exactly what O&M are doing!
I don’t.
That said, I do agree that Obama should be attacked forcefully, directly and constantly.
Candidates that fear the race card need not apply.
Thanks 1010RD. This is crust what I needed on this lovely Friday. :’)
This sounds like something McLame would have done.
Powder..patch..ball FIRE!
Agreed. A thousand cuts. Minimize NObama, ridicule him for his lack of leadership and his aloofness.
Show the emperor with no clothes. The more people that point and shout the more notice it will get.
I don’t get how sending leftover pizza to Obama is mocking him.
Excellent and Reagan used these tactics and so did GHW Bush. They’re extremely effective.
The point isn’t who did it, but that it is being done. Our GOP field has to destroy the idea that Barak Hussein Obama can even BE President.
That’s the path to victory.
