I agree. Most of the libertarians that I encounter want to abolish a lot of “morality” laws. I don’t think taking the country any further into the gutter is going to improve things. Looks like anarchy to me. If it feels good, do it was a hippy bumper sticker from the 60’s and not a sound moral philosophy.

Do you really believe that "morality laws" have prevented us from going into the gutter? Do you think that drug laws have reduced the use of recreational drug use? Do you think that sodomy laws reduced the amount of homosexuality?

Democracy is designed for a moral people, but no form of government, nor amount of laws, can make a person, or a people, moral. Sharia is probably the ultimate form of government enforced morality. How's that working out?
