I don’t think that you can question Bishop, and Stake President Mitt Romney’s devotion to the teachings of his religion, he is a devout Mormon.

I was thinking about Romney's support of gay marriage and abortion which I believe is at odds with the Mormon church doctrines. I'm not a Mormon, though so maybe that's ok.

I believe that sometimes church leaders will support candidate's religious bonafides without checking voting records. For instance, Congressman Raul Grijalva claims to be a Catholic who supports abortion. I don't think of him as a devout Catholic, however.

Bishop Romney says that the church is not pro-life, the homosexual thing (and the church) I don’t know about, but I do know that Romney was and is a high ranking figure in the church.
