And how far in advance of the trip do you think his wife got pregnant?
And, the money was more important to him than the birth of his child? That's not selfish?
Yes, likely paid ahead of time...a year ahead or so... as most do it seems. To the tune of about 80 grand and upwards!
Also they pretty much didn’t know the wife was pregnant then. Even so she is very much aware of his passion and he had done several other climbs worldwide as well.
The baby girl was born pre-mature...don’t know how far...but ahead of schedual.
