While Ed Brooke just became a nonagenarian, he did suffer breast cancer (yes, men get that, too) while Baba Wawa was blabbing about her sexual exploits.

While I like Ed Brooke, I wanted a brilliant Conservative in the Senate seat such as Avi Nelson. Unfortunately, Avi lost despite my best volunteer efforts.

The late Paul Tsongas eventually won the Senate seat in 1978 over Ed Brooke and Avi Nelson (this is Communist Massachusetts afterall).
