No, you don't get it. You apply your own self-serving, traditional terms to new lab procedures to which the rest of the world has chosen to apply a set of more descriptive and more accurate, new terms.
You are pretending things are the same which are not the same. And you have your reasons, I'd guess.
And you apply your own self serving terms to demonize one type of genetic modification because it's done in a lab, vs the genetic modification that has gone on for centuries that's not done in a lab. Genetic modification is modification - be it done in a lab, or the barnyard. You're the one pretending - pretending that which has gone on for centuries is not genetic modification.
