You just might. Being approved for organic farming means next to nothing about whether it is harmful to humans. But have a nice helping of rotenone and copper fungicides, also approved for organic uses. But also be ready for quick trip to your nearest toxic substance treatment facility.

Probably the most common reason a pesticide or fungicide is approved for organic farming is that it degrades and becomes harmless in the environment within a reasonable time, NOT that it is necessarily harmless to humans.

It’s also possible that in this particular study done in Montreal on pregnant women that they eat a high percentage of organic fruits and vegetables, thus the detectable levels of Bt toxin. Are they able to distinguish the source of the Bt toxin detected?

Inquiring minds want to know.
