The swapping of borderlands was at the heart of Bill Clintons nearly successful attempt to negotiate a peace deal in 2000. It was at the heart of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmerts nearly successful effort to negotiate peace with the Palestinians in 2008

Dear Joe Klien

As usual your article is an absurd exercise in DNC directed propaganda without the slightest hint of intellectual honesty or merit.

Only a brain dead moron mindlessly regurgitating the propaganda emailed him daily by the DNC could think the above statement you wrote was intellectually serious.

Pry your head out of 0's butt for a change Joe and TRY thinking about this issue.

The reason NONE of these efforts have BEEN SUCCESSFUL is because the Palestinians have NO INTENTION of ever co existing with Israel. So quit chasing the mythical nonsense dream of mid East peace. It takes 2 sides to make peace and only 1 side is serious here.

I included that excerpt precisely because the term “nearly successful” would be a blinding red light alarm to most people, except apparently the author.

Klein seems completely uninterested in why those attempts failed.
