Man believed to be Ratko Mladic arrested
AlJazeera ^ | May 26th 2011 | Staff

A man believed to be fugitive war crimes suspect Ratko Mladic has been arrested, an official from the Serbian interior ministry has said.

"He has some physical features of Mladic. We are analysing his DNA now," an unnamed official told the Reuters news agency.

Local media said police are carrying out DNA tests on a man who identified himself as Milorad Komadic, who was arrested on Thursday.

Serbia's war crimes prosecutor refused to confirm or deny the reports, but Boris Tadic, Serbia's president, will hold a press conference later on Thursday.

Mladic, the Bosnian Serb wartime army commander, is wanted by the United Nations war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for genocide during the 1992-95 Bosnian conflict.

His arrest is seen a precondition of Serbia joining the European Union.

The Serbs were fighting the KLA, the drug dealing, white slavery running, terrorist gang who were supported by, among others, Al-Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden, and the CIA. Too bad for the Serbs that resisting the Globalist Bankster’s NWO is a crime punishable by death.

From an earlier post of a related article:

The EU has conditioned Serbia's membership bid on the arrest of Mladic.

The chief U.N. war crimes prosecutor has complained in the past that Serbian authorities were not doing enough to capture him. Prosecutors have said they believed he was hiding in Serbia under the protection of hardliners who consider him a hero. Mladic was last seen in Belgrade in 2006.

Serbs were victims of Bill Clinton's Wag the Dog War. Nothing but lies came out of this. The Muzzies and Croats both committed more atrocities than the Serbs, but the Muzzies actions were hidden by BC.

I am not defending Mladic, but know enough about this conflict to know there were no good guys, only bad guys and much worse. Muslim atrocities were much much worse and they were ignored.

the arrest of any monster - whether they be Serb, Croat, commy, or muzzie - is good.

Ratko fits the bill - regardless of what happened in the past - or will happen in the future.

This region is in a never-ending campaign of hatred - similar to what we see in the Middle East.

But when you can grab someone who has committed atrocities against innocents - and stuff them away for good - I support it.

I have studied the Balkans for many years. (not as much recently) I know a number of Serbs here in the U.S. (I have no Serb ancestry)

The Serbs got a really raw deal from the “International Community”. And it is still going on.

The lies that were told about Serb atrocities, our reason for entry in Slick Willie's Wag the Dog War, were mind boggling.

By the way, did you note the source of the article?

The Serbs will never never get a honest statement said about them in that source.

Bosnian Serbs are Christians, and so were the Bosnian Croats they slaughtered. (Serbs are Orthodox, while Croats are Catholic.)

I know that they have been killing each other in the Balkans over religion for at least 800 years (since the Muslims invaded), but Bosnian Serbs did commit war crimes during the 1990s and should be held accountable.

I wouldn’t say I’ve “studids” it. I did travel there in the late 90’s with Croats as my hosts.
I got their side, of course. I visited Mostar.

But I also did some reading afterwards - and after awhile I lost track of who committed what atrocity towards which group because it’s just a horrifying cycle between all of them.

Sorry about the spelling. Often type quickly and don’t proof enough.

Do you have relatives in Mostar.

Croatian ancestors?

It was actually a church related trip - so, being catholic, we wound up with catholic hosts.

Have they arrested any of the Albanian Muslim war criminals that were committing atrocities then and are still committing atrocities to this day?

Haven't seen any news items out of Serbia about recent mass murders by Albanians/Kosovars/Bosniaks.

But I believe about a couple dozen Muslim war criminals from the same time frame as Mladic's exploits are currently in prison/awaiting trial.

The two most prominent ones were Limaj and Ceku - however, the Bulgarian authorities did not cooperate and allowed Ceku to escape prosecution.

But the Serbian authorities likely aided and abetted Mladic for years and are now seeing the light - perhaps the Kosovo government will realize that it is in their best interests to hand Ceku over.

The Serbs will never never get a honest statement said about them in that source.

Because of the mutual trade and security agreements that the Serbian government has made with Iran?

I’ve been mulling over that phrase “over religion”.

hmmm..

With muslim vs. serb, muslim vs. Croat - yes I’m sure that’s true.

When the commies kill it can often be a religion quashing matter too.

Serb vs. Croat?
I’m sure it started over religion but somewhere it turned into tribalism -like we see in ireland.

I doubt the killing in recent decades has anything to do with religion - but more with nationalism and retribution.
